Description of fungi

 

The Colletotrichum spp. are Ascomycetes which have two forms of reproduction:

  • a sexual or teleomorphic form in the form of perithecia more or less spherical and grouped . Within these perithecia, we can observe asci and ascospores .
  • asexual or anamorph form originally of acervuli superficial sub-cuticular arranged in circles on the arrays (1, 2 and 7). These acervuli contain numerous conidiophores which form conidia hyaline whose shape or dimensions vary according to the species prevailing * (figures 3, 4 and 8). They constitute the mucus and more or less salmon color visible on the acervuli (Figures 5 and 6). Of brown silk with black stovepipe and (7 and 8), the setae are also visible within've acervuli.
