Vector insects
A lot of insects can transmit viruses and phytoplasmas in particular. Many of them are also crop pests. If you are interested in a particular insect we recommend you consult the HYPP application accessible on INRA’s e-Phytia website, which incorporates the whole former illustrated encyclopedic database HYPPZ. This database offers a number of factsheets on a wide variety of pests that occur in Western Europe, including several virus vectors.
