The daylilies are brown in color and the wings are often adorned with darker spots.

Adult lacewing (imago), the pair of eyes are very prominent, the wings are transparent, with clearly visible veins.
Open silky cocoon, where the lacewing larvae pupated.
The ovoid eggs in lacewings are pedunculated, thus ensuring their protection against predators.
